Matt Damon is an Oscar-winning Hollywood superstar, famous for his roles in movies like Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Ocean's Trilogy and the first three Bourne movies, as well as People Magazine's 2007 Sexiest Man Alive; he is also known for his humanitarian efforts to help create a better world. He is the co-founder of Water.org, a nonprofit organization working to help provide aid to developing countries where one billion people do not have access to safe drinking water and 2.5 billion are without toilet facilities. Along with friends including George Clooney and Brad Pitt, Matt Damon helped found the Not On Our Watch Project, which helps bring global attention to stop and prevent genocide and other mass atrocities. He also supports many other humanitarian causes such as the ONE Campaign, working to fight AIDS and poverty, and Feeding America, which is working to end hunger in the United States.
