of the human rights organization, Breakthrough, based in
New York City and in India. Breakthrough harnesses the power
of the arts, media, pop culture and community mobilization
to promote human rights, diversity, equality and justice.
Breakthrough's work includes several ground-breaking campaigns
designed to engage men in helping to end violence against
women around the world. Mallika Dutt also shares her breakthrough-ideas
for transformation through her writing and speaking engagements.
She serves on the boards of a number of other human rights,
philanthropic and multimedia organizations, and has received
numerous awards and accolades for her cutting-edge activism.
