Albert Gobat was a Swiss lawyer and legislator who won the 1902 Nobel Peace Prize for his work in the international peace movement at the turn of the twentieth century. He was the first sectretary general of the Interparliamentary Bureau and the second secretary-general of the International Peace Bureau.
