Natasha Jane Richardson is a Tony Award-winning British actress and member of the Redgrave family. She is the daughter of the legendary actress Vanessa Redgrave and the late film director, Tony Richardson, and the granddaughter of another acting legend, Sir Michael Redgrave. Natasha Richardson has achieved her own success in many film roles such as A Month in the Country, The Favour, the Watch and the Very Big Fish, The Handmaid's Tale, Nell, Parent Trap and The White Countess, and even greater fame on the stage, in numerous productions including her Tony Award-winning performance in the Broadway musical Cabaret. After her father died of AIDS in 1992, Natasha Richardson became an ardent AIDS activist. She has been actively involved in many events and fundraisers with amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
